If you have experience of working with machinery and tools and are looking to share your knowledge, becoming a Design and Technology Technician could be the job for you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support and assistance to Design Technology teachers and students
• Assist in the preparation and setup of workshops, demonstrations, and practical activities
• Ensure workshop equipment is well maintained
• Demonstrate an awareness of health and safety, and safe working practices
• Ability to manage competing demands, meet deadlines and a can do attitude

• A permanent role of 37 hours for 39 weeks per year
• Salary upon appointment Grade 4 Scale Point 9 £23,893 (actual £20,460) with potential to rise to Point 12 £25,119 (actual £21,510)
