DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN

25 hours per week. 38 weeks per year

Salary G4 £ 19,698 - £20,903 (pro rata)

Actual salary £11,041.73 - £11,717.20

Required from May/June 2021

We are seeking to recruit a Design and Technology Technician to support our small and friendly team.  We are looking for someone who is able to provide practical, and technical IT skills such as CADCAM and administrative support for the teaching of Design and Technology with a good knowledge of machinery, ICT, tools and manufacture.  The successful candidate will have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and a keen interest in Designing and Making. For some aspects such as laser cutting and 3-D printing, prior knowledge would be desirable but training will be given. Design and Technology is a forward thinking and adaptable department where we learn from each other to develop our practice.
