We’re opening a brand-new, independent school dedicated to supporting pupils with EHCPs. This is a unique opportunity to join as Deputy Headteacher and work alongside our recently appointed headteacher to build and lead a school from the ground up. The Three Chestnuts School is a new school and is registered for up to 30 students aged 11 – 16 years. At KS3 the school will offer a broad, balance and relevant education in line with the national curriculum. At KS4 the school will offer a range of accreditation including ASDAN, Entry Level and Functional Skills. The more academically able students will be encouraged to study BTECs and GCSEs.
We are looking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher with a strong understanding of learners with additional needs who require a tailored and bespoke approach to education. The successful post-holder will bring great leadership, passion, and vision to developing and delivering high quality education. The school will work in close partnership with other professionals to provide a holistic package of support which may also include children living in care and accessing therapeutic support. Children attend school full days Monday to Thursday, and Friday morning, allowing Friday afternoon for PPA
