The Lincolnshire Teaching School Hub is primarily designated with the singular aim of recognising teacher and leader development as the most important form of school improvement. The Hub aims to build strong partnerships to support teachers and leaders in every phase and type of school, at each stage of their development.

A crucial part of the Deputy Director role is building and sustaining strategic partnerships at a regional, local and national level. This will have a particular focus on the 363 schools within Lincolnshire for which the Hub is designated.

The Teaching School Hub is at the forefront of providing high quality professional development, playing a significant role in the implementation and delivery of the DfE driven aspects: The Early Career Framework , National Professional Qualifications and Initial Teacher Training . The role works closely with National Providers and local partners to ensure that the quality of provision is of the highest standard and that there is a fair and well-coordinated access to the offer. In addition to this, the role
involves the leadership and coordination of Continuous Professional Development and School to School support, to meet the needs of schools and support improvement.

The specific purpose of this role is to strategically lead the NPQs and CPD within the Teaching School Hub, with strategic oversight of contracts such as the ECF, AB, ITT and other externally funded work streams.
In addition to this the role will involve strategic leadership and oversight of the English Hub in conjunction with the English Hub Leader.
In all aspects, the role is designated to support the Director of the Teaching School Hub in the overall strategic leadership , partnership working and overarching vision, holding the Trust values of Lead, Empower, Achieve and Drive at the centre of working practices, implementation and decision making.
