The Employment Coach role will complement the successful initiative of the Local Supported Employment Service which sits within the Adult Day Services.

We are a small but dedicated and passionate team, keen to drive positive change and ultimately transform lives by inspiring and motivating individuals working with us to find paid employment.

About the role

Based primarily at The QUAD Café, County Offices, Lincoln, the provision is a professional training facility which develops the skills of volunteers in the hospitality and catering industry.

The successful applicant will be fully integrated into the staff team, working with identified adults to progress them into the world of work.

Supporting volunteers to master practical skills and build their confidence, we seek to move them into relevant paid employment opportunities to maximise their potential.

A ‘can do’ attitude is a must for this role, as well as being highly motivated, a good team player, patient and have an understanding of individuals strengths and needs.

You will need experience of working with young people and adults with autism and learning disabilities, their families, a knowledge of relevant legislation and routes into employment.

The role allows for professional development, with a comprehensive induction, shadowing opportunities and training in the world of supported employment.

Fluency Duty
