Interim Home Tuition Teacher Countywide Required for September 2021 or as soon as possible
We are seeking to appoint qualified, innovative teachers wishing to become part of Lincolnshire County Council's Interim Home Tuition service. Applicants should have the ability to inspire often reluctant learners and be able to promote high levels of progress and achievement. The successful candidates will be employed on a relief contract basis.
We require teachers across all age ranges from primary through to further education. Therefore, experience of teaching in more than one key stage would be advantageous. Previous experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs is desirable.
In order to meet the educational needs and maintain consistency for each pupil, it would be advantageous for applicants to be available for 5 days per week across the academic year. Teachers will predominantly be required to deliver education to children and young people during the school day. However, teachers may also be offered the opportunity to deliver educational support outside of the school day.
The post is designated as Countywide as there will be an expectation of some travel. A full driving licence is therefore essential. The service aims to allocate teachers to pupil referrals as close as possible to the teacher's base.
Qualified teacher status is essential and the role is subject to Teachers' Terms & Conditions: Main Scale or Upper Pay Scale depending on applicant's previous experience. A full induction and on-going support will be provided.
