Contract Management & Performance Officer
An opportunity has arisen within the Waste Services Section of Lincolnshire County Council for a suitable candidate to become involved in various aspects of the provision of a range of waste services across the county.
As the postholder will be involved in the acquisition of services and supplies any applicant will be expected to have a good working knowledge of procurement in the public sector, particularly related to the EU Public Contract Regulations 2015.
Ideally this will be supported by hands-on experience of contract management, preferably though not essentially in a waste environment.
The post will be based at the Energy from Waste plant at North Hykeham but will require periodic travel around the county to both LCC facilities and those operated by third parties providing waste services to the Council. The Council pays a fixed rate for mileage or the candidate may opt to join the lease hire scheme.
Post grade: G9 £30,756 rising by annual (performance related) increment to £34,106 excluding annual pay rises.
The post is full time and permanent and the hours are 37 each week. There may be an occasional requirement for working at weekends and on Bank holidays.
External appointees are subject to a six month probationary period.
For further information and an informal discussion around this post please contact Anna Hodds on 01522 552351.
