About the role

As a Transport Support Officer you will be responsible for administrational tasks for the Educational Travel Team. No day is the same as the team plays a vital part in providing transport for over 18,000 students across Lincolnshire into a wide range of Schools and Colleges including transport for children with additional needs and for children in care across the County. The role will involve data inputting into our transport management system (MTC) as well as prepping letters and contract paperwork, therefore we are looking for someone with strong administrational and customer service skills.

This role will allow hybrid working, based from our offices in Lincoln, with occasional offsite visits to education settings and operators. Working hours of 37 hrs per week, Monday to Friday (between the office hours of 07.30 – 17.30) The departments full service hours are Monday to Friday 06.30 – 19.00 and Saturday 07.30 – 18.00.

About the team 

Transport Services is part of the Council’s Place Directorate and is responsible for developing and delivering passenger transport solutions across Lincolnshire for more than 20,000 passengers daily.

We enable passengers to travel to and from school and other places of education, for social care reasons and we provide a demand responsive CallConnect bus service to connect communities across the county.
