You’ll work with both children and young people within Child in Need (CiN), Child Protection (CP), Looked After Children (LAC) and Care Proceedings to ensure that they are safeguarded at all times. This is an exciting opportunity to have real input in to the efficient and effective delivery of social care in a nationally leading local authority.

 We’re looking for:

  • An HCPC-registered social worker with extensive experience of children’s social work
  • Practice Educator Stage 1 and 2 – and ideally a postgraduate management certificate
  • Significant experience supporting, guiding and mentoring others
  • Knowledge of childcare legislation and experience of Section 47 investigations
  • Budget management skills and experience managing projects
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • A great team manager who enjoys working with a diverse range of people
