Childrens Services Advanced Practitioner
This is what leadership looks like
As an Advanced Practitioner you will identify, assess, plan, implement and review the care needs of our most complex children and families. You’ll provide a safe, child-focused service using the Signs of Safety framework and make sure we achieve outstanding personal development for every child in our care. And when it comes to your team, you’ll develop the leaders of the future – improving their practice and inspiring them on their own social work journey.
This is what experience looks like
We’re looking for:
- An innovative and inspirational leader who provides a high level of support
- An excellent communicator who can build strong working relationships
- Someone who wants to achieve the best possible result for every child
- Knowledge of children’s services legislative frameworks
- First-class time management and organisational skills
In return, we’re committed to supporting your continuous professional development and career progression – we even offer a 7% annual retention bonus to all Advanced Practitioners working within our FAST teams.
This is what innovation looks like
Here at Lincolnshire County Council, we believe that children, young people and families deserve outstanding social care. Our high aspirations mean we’re now at the forefront of innovation in our field, and while we’ve made great strides, we want to achieve more. Much more. That’s why we’re part of an exciting project with Eileen Munro, rolling out the Signs of Safety framework across all service areas. And it’s why we’re also involved in the Partners in Practice programme – an influential partnership where we work with other top-performing local authorities to redefine what children’s services departments should look like. Bring your ideas and innovation to the table and you’ll transform the lives of children, not only here in Lincolnshire, but across the UK.
We understand that you may have questions, or simply want to speak to one of the team to find out more about working here. That’s why we have a dedicated in-house advisor on hand to support you with your application. Simply contact Nikita Lord on 01522 553134 and she’ll be in touch as soon as possible.
If you will require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK, please contact us to discuss this before submitting your application.
