Middle Rasen Primary School, North Street, Middle Rasen LN8 3TS
We require a reliable, organised, practical and highly motivated person for this key position, to carry out cleaning and caretaking duties for the School.
This includes premises management, minor maintenance tasks and repairs, security of the buildings and site, correct storage and use of cleaning materials, ensuring the whole school environment is cleaned and maintained to a high standard and conforms with Healthy and Safety requirements. Training will be provided.
Working hours by arrangement with the Headteacher, but will be split before and after school. The likely hours will be 6.30 – 8.30 and 15.15 -17.45 but will be the subject of discussion at interview.
Ideally the candidate would live within the local area due to the demands of the post, which will also involve some extra evenings, out of hours/weekend work and emergency callouts.
As most of a caretaker’s work involves cleaning, the person appointed will need to take pride in their work, be friendly, flexible and able to use their initiative in caring for the buildings and school site.
