About the role

As our Caretaker, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the unlocking/locking of the site
  • Supervision of contractors carrying out maintenance and repairs
  • Health and Safety building checks
  • Basic minor repairs
  • Participate in the out of hours call out procedure

About you

This is a unique site with a varied and interesting role that would ideally suit someone who is adaptable, creative, and eager to take on new challenges. The Caretaker has the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, requiring a mix of problem-solving, innovation, and collaboration, making it perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced setting.

You will have previous experience of working within a building maintenance role, or similar, and be able to work flexibly on using your own initiative.

As Caretaker you may be expected to travel to other cultural sites, therefore a driving licence is desirable.
