Careers Adviser and Work Experience Manager
Spalding High School Governing Body are seeking to appoint a motivated and committed Careers Adviser and Work Experience Manager.
A suitable applicant will have or be working towards a Level 6 Careers Guidance Practitioner qualification in order to carry out guidance appointments with students.
Personal development from childhood to adulthood is also of great importance to us. Our students grow into independent, articulate young women (and young men in the Sixth Form) who take responsibility for, and make decisions about their lives and their futures in an informed and intelligent way. Careers Adviser and Work Experience Manager - Spalding High School
The suitable candidate will also be responsible for planning, implementing and managing the work experience programme for students in Years 10 and 12. Working collaboratively and closely with the Careers Leader, they will be expected to be confident in supporting and advising students, staff and parents/carers in the delivery of the School education programme and meeting the Gatsby Benchmarks. They must be confident working independently, as well as part of a team, and have experience in the same or similar role.
Applicants will enjoy working in an extremely rewarding capacity with students who enjoy sharing their wide-ranging aspirations. The careers department works collaboratively with a range of external providers and is supported by the Careers Hub, an Enterprise Co-ordinator, two Enterprise Advisers and a Link Governor.
Spalding High School is an 11 – 18 academically selective community girls’ grammar school with boys in the sixth form and has an excellent reputation within the local community and region.
