Business Support Service Manager
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated individual to join us as a Business Support Service Manager within Business Support on a temporary basis, lasting up to 18 months.
This post is expected to manage busy teams providing administration support to Adult Care and Coroners and Registration services but may be required to cover any other service area in accordance with business need.
As a Service Manager you will support the Business Manager and wider Senior Management Team to provide leadership of a fast paced team, providing a number of services across the county to meet the needs of our customers, partners and the residents of Lincolnshire.
You will also play an active role in engaging with stakeholders at all levels and juggling multiple demands to meet statutory deadlines. This is a varied role with a great opportunity to play a part in services that are vital to residents of Lincolnshire.
As Service Manager you will manage complex functions and projects and be confident with significant independent decision making. You must be able to develop creative and imaginative responses to complex and high profile service areas which has Council and/or service wide implications on both staff and customers.
You will be required to develop a keen understanding of this complex service area so your teams can meet continually changing internal and external challenges, effectively managing operational change and working closely with partners to drive efficiencies.
This role will sometimes entail working outside of "traditional office hours" at times in order to meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders. Work base can be negotiated with the successful candidate.
