Grade G7, Point 18 (£8284.00 actual per annum based on G7 18 & under five years’ service).

 

The Headteacher and Trustees are looking to appoint a highly motivated, flexible, exceptional individual in the role of Attendance officer/Family Support Advisor to support our children and their families. We are a small, happy, friendly family orientated school. We have wonderful children, supportive parents and a dedicated team of staff and trustees. Our children love their school and we work together to provide opportunities for every child to meet our motto in ‘Being the best we can be.

 

Working flexibly throughout the week with children families and staff to overcome barriers, you will help to ensure that all children are all to attend school and achieve their full potential. As part of the role the successful candidate will support the school’s Early Help offer and to achieve their attendance targets, as well as offer family guidance, advice and signposting further support needed to our families.

 

We require a professional who has:

  • An understanding of attendance procedures and regulations
  • A knowledge of agencies that can provide support to families in various situations
  • Experience of signposting to appropriate agencies for the benefit of children and families
  • Experience of delivering family support in school and the community
  • The ability to liaise with parents and professional, offering support and challenge as appropriate
  • The ability to form professional relationships and be part of our staff team
  • Good record keeping
  • Good inter personal skills and an ability to remain clam under pressure
  • Own transport with business insurance ( which can be funded by school)
