Assistant Homes Manager - Semi Independent

We are looking to recruit an assistant homes manager for our semi-independent accommodation situated in Gainsborough and Grantham, Lincolnshire. Denton Avenue, and Rowston Close, provides semi-independent accommodation for young people who are looked after by Lincolnshire County Council. The accommodation at both locations comprise of two semi-detached houses. The houses at each site allows for up to five young people to reside, providing an independence programme for a period of up to twenty six weeks.  All residents are aged between sixteen and eighteen and are children in care.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic forward thinking assistant homes manager. You must have a proven track record of effective and engaging leadership not only with a team of residential care officers but also with stakeholders, statutory agencies and external multidisciplinary teams. You must have management experience within children's residential services or semi-independent accommodation and either hold or be willing to work towards the QCF 5 in Leadership and Management.

Assistant homes Managers are required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and a shift pattern is worked, including nights, bank holidays and weekends. The candidate would be required to work across the residential estates of children's services if the need arises to meet the needs of the service making driving essential.
