 At Tydd St Mary C of E Primary School, the governors of this popular school are looking to appoint a friendly, reliable, efficient and highly motivated Administrator to run our busy school office, act as receptionist and work as PA to the Headteacher.

Tydd St Mary is a small, rural, Voluntary Aided Church of England Primary School in Lincolnshire on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border. As an inclusive church school we take pride in developing the spiritual and moral education of all children based on basic Christian principles.

Administrator - Tydd St Mary C of E Primary School 

25 hours per week (8:30-1:30 daily)
Salary grade: G4 Point 9-12 (£25,183- £26,409 FTE) pro rata and equated, 39 weeks per annum

The successful candidates will:

  • Represent the school in a positive and professional manner, remaining calm under pressure.
  • Demonstrate an efficient, professional approach and the ability to set up processes, systems and databases quickly.
  • Manage the school office, including meeting diary management, supporting with staff absences, pupil attendance records and safer recruitment.
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders such as parents/carers and outside agencies, including taking responsibility for sending out all electronic communications
  • Hold responsibility for the accuracy, completeness and validity of the payroll returns and for the payment of salaries and wages

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate:

  • A commitment to safeguarding
  • An excellent standard of literacy and numeracy
  • Strong IT skills including use of MS Office - Word and Excel are essential.
  • Confidence and experience of finance and budgets 
  • and will be reliable, flexible, organised and able to prioritise work.
