Administrator – 32.5 hours per week – 39 working weeks per year  

G4 9-12 depending on experience

Due to the retirement of our present Administrator, we are restructuring our office functions and are looking for an Administrator to help run our lovely village school and to work alongside the Receptionist/Administration Assistant.

The role is …

  • to support the Executive Headteacher and School Business Manager by being responsible for overseeing the office as to facilitate the smooth running of the schools administrative procedures and/or be responsible for some aspects of, finance, purchasing, marketing, premises work, safeguarding, and HR
  • to be the link with the local authority for the Census and data
  • to support Executive Headteacher and School Business Manager in monitoring Attendance and follow up procedures, provide assistance as required for pastoral support, parent communications, pupil needs and welfare
  • to train to take on the role as Educational Visits Coordinator for the Federation
  • to support our school’s committed teaching and leadership team in their day to day work
  • to work with the school’s leadership team to deliver their vision for the school’s future
  • Hours of Work - 32.5 hours a week. Term time and INSET days only (Equivalent to 39 weeks per year plus holiday entitlement.)
  • Term time only on site but some remote work may be required in the school holidays on an ad hoc basis

We are a busy and exciting setting with six classes plus Nursery, taking children from age 2 – 11, we can offer fantastic pupils, friendly parents and an enthusiastic teaching and learning team within which to work.

Professional management of our administration is critical to the smooth running of everyday life in school
