1:2:1 Teaching Assistant - Maternity Cover

We are seeking to appoint, for April 2025, an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Level 1 Teaching Assistant to work as part of our staff team.
The post is to support an existing pupil in Key Stage 2 who has additional learning and medical needs. The post holder will be required to work 30 hours per week, for 39 weeks. The hours will be 9.00am-12.30pm and 1.00pm-3.30pm.
The post will involve class-based support and the delivery of various intervention programmes. The successful candidate will also be involved in the preparation of resources, record-keeping, and liaison with the teaching team, parents, and external agencies. Previous experience of working with children with additional needs would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and dedicated, be able to work flexibly, demonstrate excellent communication skills, use their own initiative and work effectively as part of a team.
