1:1 Teaching Assistant to cover maternity leave

1:1 Teaching Assistant supporting a pupil in Year 3.

32 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time + five days training).

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and calm 1:1 Teaching Assistant who will support the social and emotional needs of a pupil in Year 3, as well as supporting their learning in the classroom as per their Educational Health Care Plan. You will be working alongside an excellent team of teachers and teaching assistants. This post is temporary and is a maternity cover position. Experience of working with children with additional needs is desirable.

We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and motivated teaching assistant to join the Charles Baines team. You will need to be committed to achieving the best for every child and be willing to go the extra mile!  Candidates will need to be able to use their initiative, work as part of a team and have a good sense of humour.

The successful candidates will have had experience in a primary setting, be passionate about providing dedicated support to our pupils, have high expectations and want to be involved in the whole life of the school.
